How can I get the Page QR code?

The Page QR Code is very useful to promote your whistleblowing program and provide direct access to your page. You can get the QR code in just a few clicks.

Steps to get the QR code

  1. Go to the "Pages" section
In the Whispli platform, navigate to the Pages tab in the left-hand menu.
  2. Select the Page
Click on the Page for which you want to retrieve the QR code.
  3. Make sure the Page is Live
The "Get QR Code" button is only available if the Page is set to Live.

If the Page is not Live, you will see a "Preview" button instead, and the QR code cannot be generated.

If you need the QR code now, but the page needs to be off line for a few more days or weeks, consider putting it live for a few seconds to get the QR code then put it back off once you have downloaded the code. The QR code will not change when you put the page live again.

  1. Open the "Share" options
Once the Page is Live, look for the "Get QR Code" button in the top-right corner.
  2. Download the QR code
Click the "Get QR Code" button. A popup will appear with a QR code automatically generated.
Click the "Download" button to save the image to your computer.

Use case

You can print the QR code on posters, internal documentation, or onboarding material to give direct access to the Page from mobile devices.

Best practice: you may wish to include the QR code on pay slips to provide easy access to all employees and a regular reminder that the platform is available to report incidents. Pay slips are very appropriate because each employee has a copy they can use at home to scan the QR code.

Note

  • The QR code is dynamically generated and always linked to the current live version of the Page.
  • If you rename the page with a different URL, the QR code will no longer work.
  • If the Page is not live, the QR code will stop working. However, you can pause the page and put it back live again: the QR code will not change and will remain valid.
