# Who can see the files shared in the report? 

## Depending on where the files are shared in the report, they will be visible or not by the informant. 

The Whispli Case Management provides various ways to share files on a report: 

- The informant Report

Files shared by the informant in their initial report are available in the report section of the report and visible by the owner, all the members (single users and user group users) and the informant. 

- The Chat (more information about the Chat feature)

Files shared either by the informant, the owner or the members are available in the chat section of the report and visible by all. 

- The Notes (more information about the Notes feature)

Files shared in the Notes section are visible by the owner and all members. They are NOT visible by the informant. 

- The Workflow(s) (more information about the Workflow feature)

Files shared in the Workflow section are visible by the owner and all members. They are NOT visible by the informant. 

- The 'Files' tab (more information about the Files feature)

The 'Files' tab contains all the files shared in the various sections of the report. It's also possible to create custom folders in this section. Files shared in the custom folders are NOT visible by the informant. 

- The Tasks (more information about the Task Management feature)

 Files shared in the Tasks section are visible by the owner and all members. They are NOT visible by the informant.

- The Participants (more information about the Participant feature)

 Files shared in the Participants section are visible by the owner and all members. They are NOT visible by the informant.

To put it in a nutshell: 

- Informants see files shared in the Report and Chat sections only. 
- Owners and members see all the files shared on the report. 
- All the files, wherever they were shared, are listed in the 'Files' section of the report.
