Is there a limit to the number of workflows I can create?

One of the key advantages of Whispli is its ability to grow alongside your organization. Whether you are a small business with one reporting line or a global enterprise with dozens of specialized programs, the platform is built to be highly scalable.

No Technical Limit

There is no hard limit to the total number of workflows you can create within your Whispli environment. Our platform allows you to build as many distinct reporting paths as your compliance strategy requires.

You can maintain a library of workflows for various purposes, such as:

  • Active Workflows: Those currently attached to a report.

  • Draft Workflows: New processes you are building or testing in a sandbox environment.

  • Archived Workflows: Older versions kept for record-keeping or audit purposes.

Managing Scale Effectively

While you can create an unlimited number of workflows, we recommend a "quality over quantity" approach to keep your administration simple. To manage a high number of workflows effectively:

  • Standardized Naming: Use clear prefixes (e.g., DE_Compliance_v1 or US_HR_v2) so your team can find the right workflow at a glance.

  • Strategic Mapping: If you have many workflows, you will likely manage them across multiple different cases

Parallel Workflows vs. Total Workflows

It is important to distinguish between the total number of workflows in your account and those running at the same time.

  • Total Workflows: Unlimited.

  • Parallel Workflows: As mentioned previously, if you need to run several unique workflows simultaneously across different cases/reports , please contact the Whispli team to ensure this feature is fully optimized and active.

The Benefit of Unlimited Workflows: This flexibility ensures that you never have to compromise on local legal requirements. If a specific country changes its whistleblowing laws, you can simply create a new, dedicated workflow for that region without affecting your global setup.
