Learn how you can send files to informants after they have submitted a report.
After you have received a report you are able to share files within the two way chat function. Where you see the attach file symbol you are able to click and choose any file from your system as shown below:
You can see all shared files from within the submitted report, from the informant after the report is submitted and from the case manager after the report is submitted. These are found on the right hand side of both the case management page and the Whispli safe inbox.
Whispli allows you to upload most file types:
Devices such as computers, cameras and phones may automatically embed metadata in digital files they create. This metadata could include identifying information such as file creation date and time, device used, IP address and file author.
Whispli automatically removes metadata from the following types:
Images: .bmp, .gif, .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .svg
Documents: .pdf, .doc, .docx, .xls, .xlsx
All other file types and password protected files will not have their metadata removed and are uploaded at your discretion. If you want to share a file type that is not listed above, try converting it to a PDF file before uploading.
