Why may I have more than one Workflow?

Learn how you can use different workflows to power your whistleblower program.

Whispli allows organizations to create different types of Workflows that help provide a process to your investigations.
By using Workflows, your Case Managers will have a template to help them manage the case, communicate internally, and correspond with the informant.
By assigning a process to each report that comes in, you have more control over what is asked, the experience an informant goes through, and to ensure the Case Managers update the right people at the right times.

Below are some of the use cases for having different Workflows in Whispli.

Different Types of Misconduct

Different types of misconduct often need a different process to investigate. Financial fraud is very different from sexual harassment and while you want a similar overall process, you also want to be more specific for each type of misconduct. You can create different Workflows in Whispli and then have them assigned automatically based on the type of misconduct reported by the informant.

Different Business Units

Some organizations want to utilize a different Workflow for different business units due to the way they work and do business. This allows Case Managers to follow a process more specific to the business and potentially specific to the types of misconduct they encounter. It's also helpful in adhering to existing processes in a business unit that might be different from the parent company.

Local Language

In Pages and Channels, there is the ability to have local language information and questionnaires. Workflows are no different and there is the ability to create Workflows in local languages to help aid case managers. There is often nuance in the local language that gets lost when everything is in English and by being able to manage a case in their local language, Case Managers are often more accurate and faster in their investigations.

Different Countries

There are often different regulatory frameworks that need to be adhered to in different countries. By using a different workflow, you can ensure your case managers are in compliance and have the right information on how to investigate different types of misconduct.
